Design Plans for the New Mini Park: The image below shows the different elements that will be part of the new mini park.  It depicts an open lawn area, a playground, a dog park for small dogs (under 15 pounds) and another dog park for larger dogs. It also shows the location of several large and beautiful trees that were kept from the original properties.

Proposed Parking Locations/ Ubicaciones de estacionamiento propuestas

About the Project

The City of Miami, D3 Commissioner Joe Carollo, the Department of Parks & Recreation and the Office of Capital Improvements (OCI) proudly announce the groundbreaking ceremony of phase I of the new Mini Park in District 3, the Woodside Mini Park.  An additional lot (SW 3691) was secured in the neighborhood to increase the new mini park area, this will be phase II. The demolition of the existing property at 3691 will take place after the groundbreaking ceremony.

  • Elements of phase I of the new mini park project include:
  • Walkway
  • Bike rack
  • Benches
  • Tree relocation and green space
  • Exercise equipment
  • New perimeter fence

The new park elements will include:

  • Two (2) separate playground areas for children (2-5 years old and children 5-12 years old)
  • Bicycle racks and a 6 foot-wide concrete bike bath, benches and walkway paths around landscaped green areas
  • Plenty of trees for shade and comfort and a covered shelter area
  • Two (2) separate dog areas for dogs 35lbs and under, and over 35lbs.
  • Roadway Improvements around the park
