Organize a Neighborhood Cleanup or Volunteer to Help

Do you want to organize a cleanup in your neighborhood or with an organization? Or, do you simply want to help clean up litter?  The City of Miami is here to help. Once a time and date has been coordinated with the Solid Waste department, we will come meet you and provide gloves, rakes, shovels, bags, water and a garbage removal truck if necessary. We will also haul away the garbage! 

NOTE: You don't have to be a city resident or business owner to help - anyone can pitch in to cleanup The City of Miami! 


Recruit a Group of Helpers

If you want to do a neighborhood cleanup, you should get as many people as possible to work with you - particularly if you want to cover a large area. We will organize a cleanup for as few volunteers as you'd like and will cover as much ground as possible.

If you have a large group that wants to volunteer, but you'd like to know what areas need the most cleanup, we will help you identify a location. 

NOTE: If you simply want to volunteer, let us know and we'll assign you a time and place to help. 

Plan Ahead

We can usually help schedule a cleanup within 2-3 weeks, but not necessarily during the busiest times of the year (Spring and Summer).
