Liberation Day Rally Art Exhibition

MIAMI, FL — On Saturday, July 11, 2026, the Liberation Day Rally Art Exhibition opens at 1:00 PM at the historic Tower Theater in Little Havana, commemorating the fifth anniversary of Cuba’s 11J pro-democracy protests through art, film, and performance.

Event Schedule

• 1:00 PM – Art Exhibition Opens
• 2:00 PM – Interpretive Dance Performance by InsideMiso Art Company
• 2:15 PM – Poetry Performance by Luis Eligio de Omni
• 2:30 PM – Screening of the documentary Cuba y La Noche by Sergio Borrás

Admission is free. Tickets for the documentary screening are free, but RSVP is required through Eventbrite:

Curated by L.A.R.A. Arts and sponsored by Commissioner Rolando Escalona of District 3, the exhibition features works by acclaimed Cuban artists Yulier P., Dagoga, El Sexto, Tixxapura, Floyd, Osiris Cisneros, Nando, and Taiko, highlighting the role of art in advancing freedom of expression and preserving the legacy of Cuba’s pro-democracy movement.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.
