Moses Recinos
1960-2025
Manuel Artime Theater
Sound Technician
2001-2025
From the hills of Honduras, beneath skies so wide,
Came Moses, with calm and quiet pride.
A steady hand in a world full of noise,
He brought every performance to life with poise.
For 24 years, he worked with great care,
In the booth, behind scenes, always aware.
Not seeking the spotlight, not chasing acclaim,
But ensuring each show ran true to its name.
A craftsman of sound, of timing and space,
He brought out the beauty, the rhythm, the pace.
Balancing silence, adjusting each cue,
He gave every artist a world they could move through.
But more than his work, it was how he would be—
Warm-hearted, uplifting, and endlessly free.
A laugh in the hallway, a friend through it all,
The kind you could count on to answer the call.
He leaves behind Camila, his pride and his light,
Who carries his love through each day and each night.
Though he’s moved on to a place far above,
His echo remains in the theater he loved.
Here at the theater, he found more than a role —
He found a family that cherished his soul.
Though his beloved Camila lived far from this place,
He spoke of her always, with warmth on his face.
And we, his coworkers, not just passing friends,
Became his family — right to the end.
Rest now, dear Moses — your journey is done,
But your spirit plays on in each rising sun.
The theater is quieter, but still feels your grace,
For your presence lives on in this sacred space.
WE WILL MISS YOU DEAR FRIEND
