(Miami, FL January 30, 2019) - Tomorrow, January 31, the City of Miami will host a dedication ceremony to rename Museum Park as Maurice A. Ferré Park to honor and celebrate former Miami Mayor Maurice A. Ferré.
Ferré was the country's first Puerto Rican-born Mayor and the first Hispanic Mayor of the City of Miami. He paved the way to make Miami the modern city it is today and is recognized as the 'father of modern Miami.'

Directions for Media Parking: Travel north on Biscayne Boulevard and make a right on the NE 9 ST entrance. There will be a ramp that leads to the baywalk/seawall. The media trucks will follow that path until the SE corner and then make a left and follow that path until the it ends and park near the steps.
