American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)

The Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recover Funds, established by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 was launched by the U.S. Department and Treasury to provide $350 billion in emergency funding to respond to pandemic response needs, fill revenue shortfalls, and support the communities and populations hardest-hit by the COVID-19 crises. The City of Miami is awarded $137,639,417.

Apply for a Large Group Food Distribution Permit for the Homeless

Do you want to organize a large group food distribution for the unsheltered homeless at one of the designated locations? You will need this permit, which allows The City to manage large group feedings in public spaces with advance notice, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. This also allows Homeless Outreach to provide robust services during the street feedings.
