Bike Master Plan

A Bicycle Action Committee was formed as a subcommittee of the Miami Green Commission and was tasked with forming policies related to the inclusion of bicycle friendly infrastructure, events, education, etc. In 2026, The City adopted an updated Bicycle Master Plan to guide the expansion of a safe, connected, and equitable bicycle network citywide.

City of Miami Bicycle Initiatives

The City of Miami is dedicated to create a more Bicycle Friendly environment. In 2012 Miami was recognized by the League of American Bicyclists as a Bronze Bicycle Friendly Community. It is our goal to continue to expand bicycle infrastructure, and create welcoming and safe streets and paths for riders of all ages.
