Welcome to the City of Miami's Building Department Training page! Here you will find a variety of resources to help you understand the City's Electronic Plan Review (ePlan), and navigate the permitting process with ease. You can schedule an in-person workshop for you or your team by submitting the form, find virtual tutorials by visiting our YouTube Channel, and self-paces courses available through our new Learning Management System. Whether you are new to ePlan or need a refresher, we offer multiple training options to support your success.

Attention Permit Expediters: if you are doing business in the City of Miami, you are now REQUIRED to register with the Building Department. Please visit Register as a Permit Expediter page to complete the process.

In Person Training
