The Directives to Administration Dashboard allows residents to track directives issued by the City Commission and view their progress through completion. The dashboard promotes transparency and accountability in City government by showing the status of each directive.

  • Review the data last updated date to understand when the data was most recently updated.
  • Hover over visuals to view additional details.
  • Search by directive name or keyword to see related information to a specific directive.
  • Use filters to view projects by fiscal year, meeting date, department, requestor.
  • Clear filters at any time to return to the full view of all projects.

Glossary

Directives & Tasks

  • Directive - A formal action item, request, or instruction requiring administrative follow-up.
  • Directive Status - The current stage of a directive's progress.
  • Completed - The directive has been fully addressed and closed.
  • Canceled - The directive is no longer applicable.
  • In Progress - The directive is currently being worked on.
  • On Hold - The directive is temporarily paused.
  • Open Directives - Directives, In Progress or On Hold, that remain active and require further action.
  • Total Directives - The overall count of In Progress, On Hold, Canceled, and Completed directives included in the dashboard.
  • Task - A specific action completed to support a directive.
  • Total Tasks - The total number of tasks associated with all directives.
  • Average Tasks per Directive - The average number of tasks associated with each directive.
  • Directive Completion Rate - Percentage of total directives that have been completed.

 

Roles

  • Department - The City department(s) responsible for implementing a directive.
  • Requestor - The commissioner, elected official, or governing body that initiated the directive.
  • City Commission - The governing body that may collectively issue directives requiring administrative action.

 

Other Terms

  • Directive Insights - Summary of directive volume, task complexity, and status trends.
  • Fiscal Year - The reporting year used for categorizing and filtering directives.
  • Meeting Date - The commission meeting date associated with the directive.
  • Last Status Update - The date of the most recent update provided for the directive.
