D4 Facade Improvement Grant

Commissioner Ralph "Rafael" Rosado, in partnership with Sunshine for All, is launching a new grant for businesses located in low-income areas of District 4 to improve their facade. 

Businesses (with landlord approval, if not property owner) can receive grants of up to $10,000 with a 10% match. For example, if applicant applies for a $10,000 grant, they would be responsible for $1,000 of the improvements.

Who Can Apply?

Any business in the low-income areas of District 4 can apply for this grant. See maps below, outlining the low-income areas of this district. If you're unsure, feel free to apply or contact us for more information. 

What Can the Funds be Used for? 

The Facade Improvement Grant fund can only be used for the following:

• Paint/pressure cleaning (exterior only)
• Signage (existing or new, assuming you're approved for a sign permit). 
• Awnings
• Windows/doors

Is There a Deadline?

The project launches May 5th and funds are limited. Applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
