District One Twin Homes Pre-Application Period
Starting Monday, November 3, 2025, the City of Miami will make pre-applications available for income-eligible households interested in purchasing one of four, new construction twin homes in District One as their primary residence. The applicant household completing the pre-application must meet all of the guidelines of the City’s First-time Homebuyer Program (www.miami.gov/FTHB), including having a household income no greater than 80% of Area Median Income (AMI), as defined annually by the federal government based on the household’s size. Construction of the four (4) twin homes, each priced at $400,000, is set to take place within a year.
The paper pre-applications will be available starting Monday, November 3, 2025, 9 am, through Friday, November 7, 5 pm, at all District One Offices. Please visit www.miamigov.com/district1 for those location details. The City will only accept completed paper pre-applications, in person, at Juan Pablo Duarte Park, 1776 NW 28 Street, Miami, FL 33142, Monday through Friday (holidays excluded), 9 am to 5 pm, until Friday, November 7. NOTE: The City reserves the right to extend the pre-application period until sufficient pre-applications are received.
Pre-applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-ready, first-serve basis, with a City resident preference. Those applicants claiming City resident preference will need to provide supporting documentation as indicated in the pre-application itself. The submission of a completed pre-application does not guarantee eligibility. The twin homes are made possible with funding from the federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Some time on or after November 12, the waitlist for these homes will be posted below. Applicants will be called in numerical order for final verification of their eligibility based on program guidelines.
