The purpose of this Public Hearing is to consider the adoption of the Resolution as mentioned below:

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF STATE HOUSING INITIATIVES PARTNERSHIP (“SHIP”) FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION, TWO HUNDRED ELEVEN THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY-TWO AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($2, 211,782.00) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027, FOR THE STRATEGIES UNDER THE CURRENT SHIP LOCAL HOUSING ASSISTANCE PLAN (“LHAP”)

This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 15 days. The review and comment period begins on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, and ends on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 444 SW 2 Avenue, 9 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (HCD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than July 22, 2026. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to people with disabilities.
