Federal regulations governing CDBG, and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs.  In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the city program(s) as indicated below: *

  1. Discuss and proposed resolution pursuant to section 18-72 of the code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, allocating funds in the amount of $487,422.00 to the agencies specified below for public service activities for program year 2023-2024 from the Social Service Gap program funds, account no.14010.910199.481000.

The review and comment period begins on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, and ends on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, October 26, 2023. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address).  Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than October 25, 2023. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped.
