Public Notice - Notice of Funding Availability (Posted 10-04-2021)


Pursuant to Section 420.9075(4)(b) of the Florida Statutes, the City of Miami’s Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) will accept applications from income-eligible households, as noted annually based on County and household size at, for programs funded by the State Housing Initiative Program (SHIP). The SHIP funds will be utilized for the strategies indicated below under the DHCD’s Local Housing Assistance Plan for FY21-22, found at total funding being received from the State is no less than $2,088,211.

Applications will be available starting Monday, October 25, 2021, until funds are exhausted, both online at, and at the DHCD office, 14 NE 1 Ave., Second Floor, Miami, FL 33132. To be eligible, the property to be rehabilitated or purchased must be located within City of Miami limits. All applications will be funded on a first come, first ready, first served basis, subject to the availability of funds.
