City of Miami to hold Public Hearings to discuss
priorities for the 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan and the
2024-2028 Consolidated Plan for U.S. HUD

PUBLIC HEARINGS
Various Locations

City of Miami residents are encouraged to participate in the Public Hearings being held at several locations to discuss community needs, as well as eligible activities to address those needs, as defined and funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This includes Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds for the City’s next Consolidated Plan of 2024-2028 (Oct. 1, 2024 – September 30, 2029).

The needs and priorities related to the City’s Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, which runs from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025 will also be addressed here. These public hearings are designed to identify the needs of residents and establish priorities for federally funded activities. The dates, times and locations of these public hearings are as follows

SOUTH:	Thursday, April 18, 2024, 5:30 pm Miami City Hall, Commission Chambers 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133
CENTRAL:	Monday, April 22, 2024, 5:00 pm Allapattah Community Action, Inc. 2257 NW North River Dr. Miami, FL 33125
HOPWA:	Thursday, April 25, 2024, 4:30 pm Joseph Caleb Center 5400 NW 22 Ave., Room 110 Miami, FL 33142

Interested individuals are encouraged to attend these meetings where comments from the public will be heard and recorded. In accordance with the Americans with Disability Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in the meetings may contact 305-416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to the meeting date. TTY users may call via 711 (Florida Relay Service) no later than three (3) business days prior to the meeting’s date.
