Next Steps:

Future work at the park will include the restoration with grass of two (2) additional fields to complete the park's baseball complex of four baseball fields (by Summer 2026), enhancing players' safety and the community's recreational experience!

Construction to address environmental requirements as required by the Department of Environmental Resources and Management (DERM) at various City’s park locations.  The required scope of work ranges from soil and groundwater monitoring, inspection of Engineering Control Protection (ECP) in structures, and remediation of the soil and groundwater by mechanical means.  Project includes upgrades o four (4) baseball fields (2 turf and 2 grass).  Construction started in mid-July 2025, and it is anticipated to be completed in January 2026!

Construcción para abordar los requisitos ambientales según lo requiera el Departamento de Gestión y Recursos Ambientales (DERM, por sus siglas en inglés) en varios parques de la Ciudad.  El proyecto abarca el monitoreo del suelo y las aguas subterráneas, la inspección de la protección de control de ingeniería (ECP) en estructuras y la remediación del suelo y las aguas subterráneas por medios mecánicos.  El proyecto incluye mejoras de cuatro campos de béisbol (2 con césped natural y dos con césped artificial).  La construcción se inició a mediados de julio del 2025, y se anticipa terminarla en enero del 2026!
