Ft. Dallas Park Selective Demo & Flagler Worker House Restoration

Current Project Status: March 2026

The selective demolition of the metal buildings, Phase I, is complete.  The current metal shed needs to remain in place to provide structural support to the historical building structure, until the restoration work starts, Phase II, of the project.  Restoration funds need to be identified and allocated to proceed with Phase II of the project. 

Project Scope of Work:

  • Selective Demolition of Metal Buildings
  • Tree protection
  • Invasive vegetation removal
  • Pavers reinstallation in disturbed areas
  • Site pressure cleaning and site cleaning of all debris
  • The Historic Restoration of the Flagler Worker's House

Project Benefits:

This project will enhance the site conditions to move progressively to the Historic Restoration of the Flagler Worker's House.

Project Timeline:
  • Metal Buildings Demolition (Phase I) = 3 months
  • Historic Restoration Flagler Worker House (Phase II) = 18 months

How Will the Work be Performed?
  • Phase I - Selective Demolition of Metal Buildings, tree protection, invasive vegetation removal, pavers reinstallation in disturbed areas, site pressure cleaning and site cleaning of all debris.
  • Phase II - Historic Restoration Flagler Worker House
