This Project Includes:

The design and installation of a permanent generator at the Carrie Meek Building at Hadley Park for the Hardening Project. This improvement will ensure continuity of operations during hurricane season, as the park has been designated a community support and resiliency hub.

Funded through CDBG-MIT funds, the project also includes hardening the building envelope through the removal and replacement of all existing exterior windows and doors with certified impact-resistant assemblies. The new windows and doors will meet or exceed Miami-Dade County product approval standards and the Florida Building Code requirements for Category IV essential facilities.
