Urban Design Boards & Committees

For the purpose of recommending to the Director of Planning and the Zoning Administrator, the Urban Design division oversees the coordination and operation of the Urban Development Review Boards (UDRB), Wynwood Design Review Committee (WDRC), and NRD-2 Public Benefit Trust Fund Committee (NRD-2 Trust Fund).

Urban Development Review Board (UDRB)

The purpose of the Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) is to review and recommend to the Director of Planning and Zoning for approval, approval with conditions or denial of projects within certain zoning districts based on the urban quality, compatibility and contribution to the architectural and social fabric of the City.

Wynwood Design Review Committee (WDRC)

The purpose of the Wynwood Design Review Committee (WDRC) is to review and recommend to the Director of Planning and Zoning and the Urban Development Review Board (UDRB), whether the design of developments and/or improvements to properties within the boundaries of the NRD-1 are compatible with the character of the Wynwood Arts District.

NRD-2 Trust Fund Committee

The purpose of the NRD-2 Public Benefits Trust Fund Committee is to review and allocate cash contributions made to the Wynwood Norte Neighborhood to support community investment.
