Project Scope:

Low-Impact Design project that will assist with stormwater management and extreme heat mitigation including Landscaping Improvements (i.e. plant a variety of native/indigenous trees, removal of compacted soil to be replaced with structural planting soil to create deep planting holes and rain gardens, landscape planters) and sidewalk and roadway improvements (wider sidewalks using pervious concrete, pervious asphalt and/or pavers to accommodate parking, allow water infiltration for flood control and tree health, and reduce number of parking spaces to allow for tree placement). The design will follow the SW Streetscape Master Plan and the Little Havana Pedestrian Priority Zone recommendations.

Project Boundaries:

The project limits are bounded by SW 3 St between SW 4 Ave and SW 5 Ave.

Road Closures:

Some road closures may occur during construction but will be sequenced appropriately to minimize disruption to the residents.
