Design and construction of traffic calming devices (one raised intersection, one speed hump, and bulb-outs) and milling and resurfacing.

The project limits are bounded by NW 5 Avenue between NW 42 Street and NW 51 Street. See proposed traffic calming locations in the graphic below.
NW 5 Avenue between NW 42 Street and NW 43 Street (Speed Hump).
NW 5 Avenue at NW 48 Street (Bulb-out).
NW 5 Avenue at NW 50 Street (Raised Intersection).
NW 5 Avenue at NW 51 Street (Bulb-out).
Road Closures:
Some road closures may occur during construction but will be sequenced appropriately to minimize disruption to the residents.
Construction Schedule:
- Notice to Proceed has been provided to the contractor: March 2025
- Contractor has obtained permits. Completion of permitting process: April 2025
- Start of construction: May 2025
- Construction End: Spring 2026
