Mayor Eileen Higgins Hosts Black History Month Celebration

City of Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins invites residents to the 2026 Black History Month Celebration, themed “A Century of Black History Commemorations.”  The free community event will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Charles Hadley Park, 1350 NW 50th Street, Miami, FL 33142.
This year’s celebration will honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of Miami’s Black community through an afternoon of food, music, games, and performances by local artists. This free and open to the public, family-friendly event invites residents of all ages to experience and enjoy a vibrant celebration of heritage and community pride.
