Roll Call.

ANY PERSON WHO ACTS AS A LOBBYIST PURSUANT TO CITY OF MIAMI ORDINANCE NO. 11469, CODIFIED IN CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE VI OF THE CITY CODE, MUST REGISTER WITH THE CITY CLERK PRIOR TO ENGAGING IN LOBBYING ACTIVITIES BEFORE CITY STAFF, BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND THE CITY COMMISSION.  A COPY OF SAID ORDINANCE IS AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY HALL.

  1. Approval of the Minutes from October 24, 2023, Housing and Commercial Loan Committee Meeting.

     

  2. Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to the allocation of CDBG funds in the amount of $200,000 for the rehabilitation of the City of Miami-owned property located at 750-754 NW 70 St.

     

  3. Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to the allocation of up to $2,750,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) funds to 2901 Wynwood, LLC for the development of the View 29 project.

     

  4. Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to the allocation of up to $350,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG”) to Assistance to the Elderly, Inc. for the rehabilitation of the Residential Plaza at Blue Lagoon project.

  5. Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to the allocation of up to $50,000 of the City of Miami - Miami for Everyone (“MFE”) funds to the St. Paul Community Development Corporation to be used towards the demolition-construction of the 3573 Hibiscus project in Coconut Grove.

Other Business:

  1. Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to borrower Ms. Bennetts's request to remove her deceased sister, Ms. Dorothy Street, from her loan and to add her pre-qualified income-eligible nephew, Mr. Keving Street, to her and her sister’s CDBG loan. 
  2. Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to the overall policy of HCLC-approval requirement for all Loan Assumptions (including loans in good standing with pre-qualified income-eligible Assumption cases, where perhaps Departmental approval may suffice).
