Ms. Milnes joined the Office of the City Attorney in June 2023 and is currently assigned to the Litigation and Appeals Division. Prior to joining the Office of the City Attorney Ms. Milnes practiced both sides of civil litigation where she handled complex commercial litigation, property disputes and represented a national insurance carrier as in-house counsel. Ms. Milnes began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender Law Offices of Carlos J. Martinez, Public Defender for Miami-Dade County.
