Mr. Goehl joined the Office of the City Attorney in November 2021 and is presently assigned to the Labor and Employment Division handling worker’s compensation matters. Prior to joining the Office of the City Attorney, Mr. Goehl handled worker’s compensation cases for 27 years in private practice, where he handled the defense of worker’s compensation claims for insurance companies, third party servicing agents and self-insured’s. Mr. Goehl is “AV” rated by Martindale Hubble’s peer rating system, the highest rating achievable for both legal abilities and ethics, since 2012. Mr. Goehl is also “AV” rated by Martindale Hubble’s Judicial Edition, the highest rating achievable for both legal abilities and ethics as reflected by the confidential opinions of the members of the Bar and Judiciary, since 2019.
