Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration in Wynwood

On Saturday, September 18, District 5 Miami Commissioner Jeffrey Watson, in collaboration with the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce, the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID) and the Dorothy Quintana Senior Arts Program will host a family-friendly Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

The celebration will be held at Roberto Clemente Park in the heart of Wynwood from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy music, free food, water slides and splash pads for children, along with a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine site offering both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. Attendees are encouraged to bring a towel.

September 15 marked the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, a celebration highlighting the achievements and contributions of Hispanic Americans who have inspired others to achieve greatness.
