Becoming a City of Miami Junior Cadet is an excellent opportunity for young people between the ages of 14 and 18 years old to explore the world of firefighting and emergency services. Our Junior Cadet program is designed to provide hands-on training and education in fire prevention, suppression, and rescue techniques. These programs offer young people the chance to learn valuable life skills, build self-confidence, and gain a sense of responsibility while serving their community. Junior Cadets work alongside professional firefighters, learning from their experience and guidance, and participating in various drills and exercises. By becoming a Junior Cadet, young people can develop essential leadership skills, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which can be valuable assets in any future career or life situation.

Joining our Junior Cadet program is a great way to make new friends, contribute to the community, and gain a unique and rewarding experience that will last a lifetime.
