The purpose of this Public Hearing is to consider the adoption of the Resolution as mentioned below:

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, APPROVING AMENDED TERMS TO THE ESTABLISHED DISBURSEMENT AGREEMENT TO 8th Street Properties, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT LOCATED AT 829 SOUTHWEST 8TH STREET, 845 SOUTHWEST 8TH STREET, AND 847 SOUTHWEST 8TH STREET KNOWN AS “ESSENCE MIAMI” (“PROJECT”).

† † This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 15 days. The review and comment period begins on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, and ends on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 444 SW 2 Avenue, 9 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (HCD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than June 23 , 2026. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to people with disabilities.
