Ms. Brooks joined the Office of the City Attorney in February 2026 and serves in the Labor and Employment Division. She represents the City of Miami in labor and employment matters before the Civil Service Board, during arbitration proceedings, collective bargaining matters, and in state and federal employment litigation. Prior to joining the Office of the City Attorney, Ms. Brooks practiced in the areas of labor and employment law, insurance defense, and civil litigation. Before pursuing a legal career, she served as an educator in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
