This project includes road reconstruction, drainage improvements, sidewalks, ADA compliant ramps, curb and/or gutter structures, pavement markings and striping, and roadway signage. The proposed drainage will include new and upsized stormwater inlets and pipe, exfiltration trenches and a gravity drainage well.  

El proyecto incluye reconstrucción de carreteras, mejoras de drenaje, aceras, rampas que cumplen con ADA, estructuras de bordillos y/o canaletas y señalización vial. El drenaje propuesto incluirá una zanja de exfiltración, conducción de tuberías de aguas pluviales y un pozo de drenaje por gravedad.

Current Project Status/Status del Proyecto (December 2023): 

  • City of Miami Procurement posted RFQ Solicitation RFQ#23-24-004 for Citywide civil engineering services for flood prevention projects.  Currently under the Cone of Silence (first stage in Procurement process)
  • El Departamento de Adquisiciones de la Ciudad de Miami publicó el RFQ#23-24-004 para servicios de ingeniería civil en toda la ciudad para proyectos de prevención de inundaciones.  Actualmente bajo el Cono del Silencio (primera etapa en el proceso de Adquisición).

  • Total property value protected / Valor total de protección de propiedad : $ 259,693,637.

The project limits are bounded by NW 36th Street to the north, NW 30th Street to the south, NW 2nd Avenue to the west, and Miami Avenue to the east.
