The Small Business Clinic is a free initiative from the City’s Homeowner Assistance Program, designed to support local small business owners in need of guidance and resources. Our dedicated team is available to assist you with an appointment either at the City of Miami Riverside Center (MRC: 444 SW 2nd Ave.) or directly at your place of business.

Are you navigating challenges related to permits, licensing, or business planning? The City of Miami Small Business Clinic is here to help. As part of our commitment to supporting local entrepreneurship, we offer free assistance to:

  • Existing business owners seeking to grow
  • Anyone facing obstacles in the business startup process

Whether you discovered our services independently or were referred by a City Commissioner’s Office, our team is ready to support you every step of the way.

Our services include support with:

  • Establishing or changing property use
  • Building permits
  • Certificate of Use (CU)
  • Zoning applications
  • Miami-Dade County permits (DERM)
  • Business Tax Receipts (BTR)
  • Code enforcement issues for current or potential leasing buildings
