Mayor Eileen Higgins

Eileen Higgins made history as the first female Mayor of the City of Miami, following years of dedicated public service as the Miami-Dade County Commissioner for District 5, a seat she was first elected to in 2018. Representing one of Miami-Dade’s most diverse districts—with communities facing stark inequalities—she became a leading voice for closing equity gaps.

District 1 Commissioner Miguel Angel Gabela

Commissioner Miguel Angel Gabela was elected in November, 2023. He He serves as the City of Miami Commissioner for District 1, representing Flagami, Allapattah, and parts of Little Havana.

District 2 Commissioner Damian Pardo

Commissioner Damian Pardo was elected to represent District 2 in the City of Miami in November 2023.

District 3 Commissioner Rolando Escalona

Born in Havana, Cuba, Commissioner Escalona immigrated to the United States and was raised in Miami. His story reflects the lived experience of many in D3: resilience, hard work, and opportunity. He began his career in the hospitality industry, starting as a busboy and working his way up to become a general manager of a major Brickell restaurant, overseeing large teams and complex operations.

District 4 Commissioner Ralph "Rafael" Rosado

Commissioner Ralph Rosado is a Miami native, a seasoned city planner, and a dedicated public servant with over 25 years of experience in local government and community development. Before his election to the City Commission, he served as City Manager, nonprofit leader, and educator, and played a pivotal role in shaping affordable housing and infrastructure policy throughout South Florida.

District 5 Commissioner Christine King

Christine King has proudly served the community for many years and is known for her passion to serve. Before becoming an attorney, Christine worked as Chief of Constituent Services for a Miami-Dade County Commissioner and later as an executive with the Community Action Agency (CAA). Her career with the county spanned eighteen years.

City Manager Arthur Noriega V

Miami City Manager Arthur Noriega was appointed as the administrative head of Miami-Dade County’s most populous city in February 2020. Mr. Noriega oversees 5,031 employees with an operating budget of $1.788 billion. An executive with a strong background in construction, operations and urban development projects, Mr. Noriega previously headed the Miami Parking Authority for 20 years.

City Clerk Todd B. Hannon

The Clerk is responsible for recording, transcribing and safeguarding commission minutes and legislation; legislative research; lobbyist registration; bid openings; records management; boards and committees administration; passport applications for U.S. citizens; attesting contracts; attending bond validation proceedings, supervising and certifying results of city elections.

City Attorney George Wysong

George K. Wysong, III was appointed as the City Attorney for the City of Miami in April 2024. He began his career with the City as an Assistant City Attorney in November 1994, and has dedicated the majority of his professional life to representing Miami in numerous practice areas.
