LITTLE CITY COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST
BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPOINTMENTS

In accordance with Section 12.5-30(e)(1) of the Miami City Code, as amended, no appointment shall be made until notice has been given in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of the appointments to be made to the Liberty City Trust at least 30 days prior to the making of an appointment. The City Commission will confirm the appointment of five (5) board members and one (1) youth member to the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust (“Liberty City Trust”)

With the exception of the youth board member (15 to 18 years), the members appointed to the Liberty City Trust Board must be eighteen (18) years of age, and reflect the diversity of the community and share technical, professional expertise or experiential knowledge and interest in the following areas:  residential construction, development, architecture and engineering, planning, zoning and land use law, economic development, historic preservation and restoration, administration, fiscal management and community involvement.

Members of the community interested in serving on the Liberty City Trust must submit an application form that includes the qualifications of the prospective appointee.  Applications are available at the Liberty City Trust office, 4800 NW 12th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33127, or online at the City Clerk’s Office website (https://www.miamigov.com/boards).

Applications received from the public will be given due consideration by the appointing party if they are received in the City Clerk’s Office located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, 33133, no later than Monday, May 19, 2025, by 4:00 PM.  A list of the nominees will be available for public review on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in the City Clerk’s Office or online at the City Clerk’s website https://www.miamigov.com/boards.  The City Commission may consider confirmation of appointees to the Liberty City Trust at the Miami City Commission meeting presently scheduled for June 12, 2025.
