ELECTED OFFICIALS ETHICS TRAINING VIRTUAL WEBINAR

Miami-Dade County Code Section 2-11.1(bb) requires county and municipal elected officials to complete an ethics course offered by the Miami-Dade County Commission on Ethics and Public Trust within a specific period of time.  In particular, this section of the Miami-Dade County Code states, “[e]ach elected official…shall within ninety (90) days after being sworn into office, submit to the Clerk of the Board a certificate of completion of an ethics course offered by the Miami-Dade County Commission on Ethics and Public Trust.”

The Miami-Dade County Commission on Ethics and Public Trust in conjunction with the City of Miami’s Office of the City Clerk will be providing ethics training to City of Miami elected officials that are required to complete the training on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.  The training will be held as a virtual webinar through Zoom.
