Federal regulations governing CDBG, and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the city program(s) as indicated below: *

1. Discuss and propose resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds for FY:2025-26 in the Public Service category, in the total amount of $761,200.61, to the agencies and/or departments, as specified below for public service activities.

3.  Discuss and propose resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Site Access Agreement, between the City of Miami and 5350 Flagler Street, LLC, for the purpose of utilizing a vacant lot located at 5350 Flagler Street, Miami, Florida, as parking for the contractors working on Flagler Villas Phase One (“Project”), located at 5215 West Flagler Street, Miami, Florida.

* The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan.

† † This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, and ends on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, October 9, 2024. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 444 SW 2 Avenue, 9 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (HCD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted to: nancyromani@miamigov.com, Attn: Nancy Romani, and must be received no later than October 8, 2025. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to people with disabilities.
