These notices shall satisfy two separate but related procedural requirements for activities to be undertaken by the City of Miami Department of Resilience and Public Works.
REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUNDS
On or about 5/2/2025 the City of Miami Department of Resilience and Public Works will submit a request to the FloridaCommerce for the release of the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program funds under Title I of the Housing and Development Act [1974], as amended, to undertake a project known as Southwest Wynwood Flood Improvements Project for the purpose of roadway improvements that will help mitigate against local flooding, land erosion and pollution, with an estimated funding of $31,698,775, and located within the project boundaries as follows north end of NW 28th Street, east boundary along NE 3rd Avenue, south boundary at NW 17th Street, west boundary consisting of NW 5th Place, NW 21st Street, and NW 5th Avenue.

FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT
The City of Miami Department of Resilience and Public Works has determined that the project will have no significant impact on the human environment. Therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) is not required.
