Chairwoman Christine King Hosts the Second Sunday Jazz in the Park

City of Miami Chairwoman and District Five Commissioner Christine King invites the community to the second Sunday Jazz in the Park at Legion Park on Sunday, February 22, featuring Latin jazz artist Tito Puente, Jr. and legendary saxophonist Gerald Albright. The free outdoor concert will bring residents together for an unforgettable afternoon of live music, family fun, and community spirit along Miami’s scenic bayfront at the park.

“We are excited to be hosting the second Sunday Jazz in the Park concert,” said Chairwoman King. “It is one of my favorite ways to spend time with the community!”

With gates opening at 4 p.m. and the concert beginning at 4:30 p.m., guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the performances. Coolers are not allowed, with the exception for medical necessitiesandridesharing is encouraged. The lineup is headlined byAlbright, an eight-time Grammy-nominated saxophonist and pioneer of smooth jazz, alongside Tito Puente, Jr., acclaimed band leader and percussionist carrying forward the legendary Latin jazz legacy of his father, Tito Puente.
