April 2025 Construction Updates:

  • Drainage installation - 100% Completed
  • Turf installation - 100% Completed
  • Backstop mesh - 100% Completed
  • Tree trimming for placement of backstop of - 100% Completed
  • Root protection on west side of the field, tree base and 2 palm trees relocated - 100% Completed
  • Curve preparation around the field - 100% Completed
  • Sidewalk & Dugouts concrete placement - 100% Completed
  • All peripheral work around the field - 98% Completed
  • North parking -100% Completed
  • All flexible pavement completed (Peripheral ‘s of Field) -100% Completed
  • South side parking preparation stages - 45% Completed
  • Overall project status - 95% Completed

The City of Miami and District 3 Commissioner Joe Carollo are happy to announce improvements to the 56,000 square feet Jose Francisco Morazan Park (formerly Riverside Park).  The project started construction at the end of 2024, and it's anticipated to be completed by the end of May 2025.

La Ciudad de Miami y el Comisionado Joe Carollo del Distrito 3 anuncian mejoras del parque de 56,000 pies cuadrados José Francisco Morazán Quesada Park ( conocido anteriormente como Riverside Park).  El proyecto comenzó construccción a finales del 2024, y está anticipado a estar terminado a finales de Mayo del 2025.

Park renovations include:

  • New artificial turf for little league baseball & soccer field
  • New French drain for the baseball field & soccer field
  • New LED lighting on existing pole
  • Dugout and bleacher replacement
  • ADA ramp access improvements  
  • Entrance Improvement
  • Parking milling & resurfacing
  • Replacement of fence sections

Las renovaciones del parque incluyen:

  • Nuevo césped artificial para campo de béisbol y fútbol de ligas menores
  • Nuevo desagüe francés para el campo de béisbol y campo de fútbol
  • Nueva iluminación LED en poste existente
  • Reemplazo de bancas y gradas
  • Mejoras en el acceso a las rampas de la ADA
  • Mejora de Entrada
  • Fresado y repavimentación de estacionamientos
  • Reemplazo de secciones de cerca
