Little River Mini Park

The City of Miami Office of Capital Improvements (OCI) is happy to announce improvements at Little River Mini Park in District 5 that include a new seawall with higher elevation (6-ft-NAVD) - for sea-level rise mitigation, green areas, a new baywalk and a new kayak launch.

Additionally, there will be a new underground pump station located at Little River Mini Park to serve the area, per the City’s comprehensive Storm Water Master Plan (SWMP).  More details will follow in the upcoming months.

The new elements of this park include:

  • A new baywalk to enjoy walks by the water
  • A new seawall for sea-level rise mitigation
  • Open green areas for your enjoyment
  • New Lighting
  • A new underground stormwater pump station that will alleviate flooding in the neighborhood through wells that will be connected to a main pump station.
