City of Miami Black History Month Student Essay Contest

In honor of Black History Month, the City of Miami will be hosting a Student Essay Contest.

Students are asked to think about this year's theme and share what it means to them. Please see flyer for grade categories.

Mayor Francis Suarez will award the winner of each grade with a Certificate of Award and a $50 Gift Card!  

Submissions are due by 5PM on Tuesday, February 16. Please note – each submission must have a City of Miami employee sponsor name attached to it.
