In order to get a covenant for a Perpetual Sidewalk Easement, you need to prepare a package.
The approval, preparation and execution of the covenant must be completed prior to issuance of the required permit(s).
Fill out the top portion of the perpetual sidewalk easement covenant application(PDF, 289KB), prepare your letter, and collect copies of all required documents.
NOTE: Do not mail the letter. It must be submitted via email as part of your complete application package.
Email the completed application and all supporting documents to Department of Resilience and Public Works Development and Roadway Plans section at rpwcovenants@miamigov.com.
You will receive a response by email with approval or revisions required, along with the total cost of your application. If approved, additional next-step instructions will be provided.
