PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY COMMISSION MEETING
Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 9:00 A.M.
Federal regulations governing CDBG, and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. Also, as per the Code of Federal Regulations 24 CFR 91.200, entitlement communities that receive HUD funds must prepare an annual Action Plan, which outlines the proposed activities to maximize the benefits of federal funding for low-to-moderate income residents.
1. DISCUSS AND PROPOSE RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE, WITH AFFORDABLE HOUSING RESTRICTIONS AND AUTOMATIC REVERTER PROVISIONS, OF THE PROPERTIES APPROXIMATELY LOCATED AT 1755 NORTHWEST 2 COURT, 1544 NORTHWEST 58 TERRACE, 1465 NORTHWEST 60 STREET, AND 411 NORTHEAST 69 STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA.
2. DISCUSS AND PROPOSE RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF PROGRAM INCOME FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $528,041.01 GENERATED FROM INTEREST EARNED ON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (“CDBG”) RECAPTURED FUNDS, FROM PROJECT THAT FAILED TO MEET PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS, TO BE ALLOCATED FOR ELIGIBLE CDBG ACTIVITIES.
3. DISCUSS AND PROPOSED RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (“CDBG”) FUNDS FROM FISCAL YEAR (“FY”) 2025-26, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $573,423.05, FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF RESILIENCE AND PUBLIC WORKS TO BE UTILIZED FOR, STORMWATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM, SIDEWALKS, AMERICAN WITH DISABILITIES ACT (“ADA”) UPGRADES, AND/OR ANY OTHER CDBG ELIGIBLE IMPROVEMENTS IN DISTRICT 1.
* The adoption of a Resolution/Ordinance by City Commission, related to the proposed new allocation(s)/ amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft, amend, and submit the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan and or Substantial Amendment(s) whenever applicable.

The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, and ends on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The proposed new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development at 444 SW 2 Avenue, 9 Floor, Miami, FL 33130. Comments to new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) must be submitted to nancyromani@miamigov.com Attn.: Nancy Romani and must be received no later than September 10, 2025.
