Margaret Pace Park - Phase 1

Park Location: 1745 N Bayshore Dr, Miami, FL 33132
District 2 Commissioner Damian Pardo and the City of Miami are happy to share the conceptual master plan for Margaret Pace Park. You may view below the PowerPoint presentations of the last two community meetings that took place in 2024 and 2025.
Phase I
The first phase of the project is to provide resiliency and shoreline stabilization. Presently, the Office of Capital Improvements (OCI) is working with the Parks Department on the design of a green shoreline stabilization plan to protect and address the coastal area resiliency needs of the park, including water access for residents to use non-motorized vessels and a revision of walkways around the park.
Elements of Phase I will include:
- Seawall and shoreline stabilization, including architectural, civil and coastal landscape
- Kayak launch and site furnishings
- Reef arches and irrigation integration
- Enhanced wayfinding signage
- Phase I is currently funded for “design only”
